I'd like to ask how you can become an admin of the forums? Or is it just the webmaster who is the admin?

Admin == by owning part of the AfterDawn.com -- if you have few tens of thousands of dollars spare cash, please contact us and we can discuss further :-)
Mod == by showing months after months a consistant urge to help fellow AfterDawners with their problems and provide accurate and helpful answers to their questions and to top the posting charts for a long time.

Wow, I have helped out hundreds of members and THOUSANDS of n00bs! 979 out of 1100 posts I made were helpin' out! (Damn n00bs, use GOOGLE!)
I am also VERY kind to most n00bs. Take for example, this guy had no idea how to view a picture in his PSP! I was so upset...yet so calm...I just explained it to him.

I'm at about 10,000 post. so post count really doesn't mean that much
Ireland is over 25,000 post
and ddp is around 35,000 post
so as you see you have a long way to go

yeah, i was approx 8,000 before mod, now over 25,000, i'm guessing most of the posts after becoming mod are mod posts, which says more about our posters than my posting habits :)

That's a good one. I heard it lots of times as mod and admin..
It falls down with the other members, and us admins know it well..
It goes like this.. "I don't want to be a mod" is posted lots and lots of times by the wannabe. (admins aren't stupid.. they can count, well usually) so this kind of thing is noted and IF an offer is made to that member at some point in the future it will be through their continuing contribution, not because of how many times they have said they don't want the job (99% usually accept!!)
Then there is the bite... Other members, also wannabe mods see the promotion and are too thick to see that there was an attempted reverse psychology in play. They start kicking up a fuss about how somebody who didn't want was promoted when they do want it and would do oh so good of a job.... hahahahaha.. been there, done that. :lol:
