I just bought the Phillips DVP642 DivX DVD player and its great!!!, its played everything i threw at it. It also plays divx/xvid, so no more converting for me :)

dude buy the cheap $25 CyberHome brand. I got mine for $15 ($10 MIR) and it plays everything :)

The Philips DVP642 is a good one ... mine was dropped by my grandkids .. dented the shirt out of the cover but it still performs flawlessly ... have a Cyberhome also that is used by the grandkids ... it works well but the Philips is much better ...

ivew got a digitrex GK2700 multiregion only paid $79 for it brand new.plays wma,wmp.mp3,jpeg,mpeg,VCD,SVCD.cd-r.you an pick them up for about $50 now.

custom built gaming pc from early 2010,ps2 with 15 games all original,ps3 500gbs with 5 games all original,yamaha amp and 5.1channel surround sound speakers,46inch sony lcd smart tv.

I bought a NEC3520 for $41.00 from tigerdirect and have had it 6 months and has worked perfect without a problem.

For my bedroom I bought a Daewoo Progressive scan DVD player at Costco for $23. It plays everything flawlessly . Any type DVD, + or -, bought or burned, all grades of media. Does much, much better than my livingroom, more expensive, very picky, Sony player.
