Disable Xbox Mod Chip?

About a year ago my uncle had put a mod chip into my xbox. All of my friends have Xbox Live and i want it too. I researched my mod Chip (Xecuter 2.3b LITE) i think thats it, but i do not know how to disable the chip in order to play online. Can anynne help me in telling me how to disable the Xecuter 2.3b LITE chip?

dont bother to go on live you will get banned even when ur chip is off. i got banned and my chip was off.

X2.3 LITE has the external switch. On the switch you can turn off the modchip. After you turn it off, xbox will boot the original ms dash. If you can do this, you can go on xbox live.

but i switched the disable switch, it booted up and then this sscreen with green letters came up with like Chinese writign on it

Hey, can you guys help me out, because i dont really know anything about mod chips, cause my uncle installed it awhile ago? How do i reinstall my ms dash? And where do i get it?

You can dowload ms dash from xbins or autoinstaller disk. I have everything in my page. Just follow the link in my sig and look for them.

You have modchip with a stock hdd and you dont mess up anything MS files on C and E. Then you can go xbox live with the chip off.

You can use any HDD. my HDD is 160GB and i have read that some other people have put a 250GB on their xbox
Note that some HDD's dont support locking

so its ok to play on Live with a differents harddrive, and to turn off the chip all you got to do is flick the enable/disable to disable? After i reinstall the ms dash

Yes, but I'm not sure that MS will detect the bigger hdd or not. If not, you are safe. If they do you will get banned.

I dont remember saying that "it is ok with bigger hdd". I said that its ok to use on your xbox but not to use it to connect to xbox live.
MS is scanning for mod chip and bigger hdd. So if you have a bigger hdd u will get banned. Thats y i got banned

bigger hard drives dun do a thing, the pplz at live chack ur xbox bios for changes (modchip, softmod). a good place 4 chips is http://www.divineo.com

You can still go on Xbox Live with an Upgraded Hard Drive . That does'nt matter.
