To all the resident gurus,

I am running WinXP w/SP2 and the Nero Express (Nero 6) which came with my new Memorex DVD-RW DL drive. I've noticed that after ripping my DVDs to my hard drive, I can use Recode2 to write the files to DVD-RW, but NOT to DVD-R. I noticed a rather strange error message, and even after searching could not fine the referenced *.cpp file (D:\Source\Stone\Nero\DVDVideoStructures\DVDVideo\Generator\VTSIGeneratorImpl.cpp). Actually, D:\ is the slave HDD on my primary IDE channel. My DVD-ROM is the master on the second IDE channel, with my DVD-RW DL drive being the slave - the same configuration I had prior to the installation of the new burner. Any assistance provided will be greatly appreciated.

Posted below is a copy of my more recent error log:

You have Roxio installed, it doesnt get along too well with Nero

Quote:
Disc Manufacturer: CMC MA - G. AM3
These are horrible discs and more than likely the problem, I would try another brand, Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden or Sony (made in japan)
I would also uninstall Roxio
