You know I was thinking.. The Nintendo Gamecube will auto adjust the pot right? Or thats what the guide at Mod that Cube says.

Well that means there is some sort of censor or some way in the gamecube to detect when the pot needs to be lowered or highered.

Why hasn't anyone made a hack or something so we could change the pot without having to open the NGC, but a software based hack?

Maybe it isn't possible? I don't know how the NCG works.

Then Say why. Don't just say, No its not possible. Give me some reasons why, or explain to me how the NCG hardware works.

do ur own god damn research, its not possible coz it has to be physically adjusted by a screwdriver... what software can do that?

The pot decreases over time, but that doesn't mean it automatically adjusts itself...

Ideally, the pot will lower itself overtime so that as the laser diode weakens, it'll still be able to read discs. It's not a massive change either, and it's completely based on hardware without any relation to firmware and/or software.

And I can see you are not here to spell properly either.

Get the dildo out of your ***, grow up and stop being such a bitch. If you didn't want to answer or didn't know the question you should not have even bothered to post. The only thing you are doing is trying to be a mean ass dick.

What you really are is a ******* troll.

Like Venom5880 said, the pot decreases over time, it is therefore recommended that you check the rate at which the pot is set to from time to time!
