What is the best DivX encoder for Mac OS X

okay bear with me here... I am a n uber noobie when it comes to encoding DVDs to Divx...

anyways i was wondering if anyone out there has found a good DivX encoder for Mac OS X the will handle subtitles and will go to DivX 4 or 5...

I have tried MencoderOSX and it never seems to work...I also have ffmpegX, but it will only go to DivX 3...and that sucks ass as i am sure you all know.

So in short what i need is a DivX encoder for Mac OS X that will accept VOB files as input and be able to go to DivX 4 or 5 and will handle subtitles.

Thanks for any help you can provide me.
