could someone please tell me what i need to convert my reg.2 too a reg.1 dvd. i have tried to read other threads but cant make heads or tails.

The simplest program to do so is VOBBlanker. Unless you know if your TV/DVD player is capable of doing NTSC or PAL, you're still gonna have some issues.

Set shrink to save to a hard disc folder when you click backup instead of burning. Shrink also removes the region code & makes the disc region free. Then open those files in vobblanker to convert from PAL to NTSC.

If may look like it's complex but it really isn't. Once vobblanker does it's thing than burn those files.
