Hello everyone,
I am on my second PS2 now due to disc errors. I have had the latest one for just over a year. I was playing a game then I put a dvd movie in; that is when it all started, now I can't even get it to play a music cd. I have cleaned the entire unit several times, adjusted the lense/voltage; still nothing. Whatelse could be wrong. The first one will only play music cd/black disc.

Looks like ur lens is going, they usually start showing signs like that then completely stop playing anything.

if yours is the ps2 slim, the lens can be replaced at a cheap price of ~30USD. pretty simple to install.
