I read the reviews on Amazon.com about Nero 7 Ultra and the reviews were horrible. What version or versions do you recommend? I've never tried it. I have Roxio 7.5 right now.

Nero 7 is a very good app. The latest version is pretty bugless as well. Buy at will, some people get put off by some bugfull versions. Like i said before buy with confidence then come back here to find out how to work with it. If you have problems post your burn log file here and one of us will help you.
Some people can't work with it, then they say it's crap...

On a side note, if you do decide to purchase Nero I would recommend you DONT install it together with Roxio, they have a conflict.

If you are going to install Nero you will need to uninstall Roxio and then run this zapper
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml

to remove all traces of Roxio.
