The subject says it all... im guessing cd images but what do i use to open/burn them?

ACE is a form of compression just like ZIP. Use a program like winace.

WinAce is a very good software. But if you already have WinRAR installed and you don't want to waste disk space, you can use it, too. WinRAR unpacks many archive formats, included ACE.
