whats up.i got the sony hdd from someone with no utility disc.i wanna hook it up to a modded version 3 ps2 with a dmspro4 se chip, with the lastest toxic flash.how do i get started to run games off it.i`m not sure if it`s formatted.

is there a way to put a backed up ps2 game in the ps2.and transfer it to the hdd,with some kind of software,or do i have to grab the ps2 image off the pc`s hard drive and transfer it to sony`s hdd.

i saw on the net a USB 2.0 to IDE Drive Adapter.where you don`t have to open your pc case everytime to hookup an internal drive for transfering the games between drives.this would seem to be an easier way to do this.

what do you think.could you let me know what program or programs i need to run the games off the hdd.this drive is only 40gb i`ll try this drive first, then i`m gonna pick up a much larger drive.

would i have to do anything different to set it up.could you let me know.sorry for the long post.thanks for your help.forgot to mention i got the network adapter hooked up.thanks again.

if you have Toxic OS on the chip it has everything built in, it's self explanatory with on screen indications and instructions such as 'hard drive detected, do you want to format'
