I was wondering what ad uses for its board software? Im getting ready to put up a web server with xammp and pbpbb board, but it doesnt look very secure. So Im curious as to what board they use. Also I was thinking it might be a good idea to get a web master forum going here on ad to help with these matters.

We use an in-house software, built by me over the last 5 years. We've been planning, for years now, to release the forum software as a stand-alone program for other sites to use, but as other stuff always gets higher priority, its been held back always. I'd suspect we might do something with that by end of the year 2006, but as always, don't hold your breath waiting for it.

I don't see fit here to add a webmaster forum and recommend using existing webmaster forums instead -- there are plenty of good ones out there, including sites such as Geek Village, The Admin Zone and Webmasterworld.
