Hi,

I've just downloaded Pro Evo 5 from mininova. I followed the ps2info site's tutorial but upon running *both* patchers, i was told both times that the dnas file did not need patching.
Sweet I thought, someone's already cracked it before uploading.
So I burn the game to disc, and set up my ps2, the game loads fine, no warnings, I connect my ps2 to my router, and then hit start.
For no apparent reason, I cannot highlight The 'Network' gameplay option to play online.

I know for a fact the ps2 has connect the dnas server yet as my routers ethernet light is quiet as the night.

So where am I going wrong? Is online play an unlockable feature or do I have a pre-release version that had networking disabled?

My sles file is the one mentioned on the dnas site, Sles_35.44
and the img file is there, just not required to patch it s says.

you've already answered your question. You have the beta which didn't have network play.

Ah thought so. D'you know the disc size of the original or a place I can download it?

Would the NTSC Winning Eleven 9 USA version work in the uk? I have a broadband connection 2mb so it shouldn't be too laggy even if the servers are stateside.
