Hi all,
After a bit of help downloaded burn and shrink programme,copied a movie file from hard drive to disk but this will not play on any of my home dvd players even they they support vcd.
Is this because copy has copied not in mpeg2 if so do I have to get a video convertor,any help would be much appreciated.

What kind of file is it? An Avi/Divx? Also, what programs do you use to burn, and what kind of media?
if you downloaded an AVI, you cannot just burn it onto a CD as data(unless you have a DVD player that supports AVI/Divx). You have to convert to VCD or DVD. In the guides section you find all the info you need in the "DVDR: Other video formats to DVDR" section.

Hi,
Movie files downloaded via limewire probably AVI,
my home dvd player is mpeg2 so I have to convert files to mpeg2 does anyone know good software to convert video files to mpeg2.
