ive been using DVD shrink for over a year now and have had no problems until recently. i tried to shrink the brothers grim, the great raid, and underclassman and each time i would get through the analysing part but then when i go to reauthor it will freeze and say not responding.

has anyone else had this problem?

if anyone knows how to fix it please let me know

hi
you are getting these problems because of the latest copy protection & shrink is no longer updated so cannot handle it.

you have several options - you can get AnyDVD from slysoft.com (not free but you can get a 21 day trial)

or you can use the following free programs - dvd dcrypter / dvd fab decrypter & then vobblanker
or DVD43.

these are just some of the programs that will allow you to back up the latest discs.
you will find plenty of user guides here at afterdawn to help you with whatever you decide to use.

I backed up both Brothers and Great Raid - was able to back up Brothers simply with Shrink and Nero - however, I believe that Great Raid is a Sony product which has some extra decryption to it - so I used DVD Fab and then shrink and then Nero Burning Rom and it came out great. As gjl2002 said, you are best to try different methods to the one that seems to fit; and as I have found out, different programs work with different movies. Oh, I also had DVD43 in the background - free to download. Happy burning!!!
