I installed DVSD shrink on a friends pc and i use shrink to create an iso and get rid of encryption. After backing it up I het a mds file along with some other files but no ISO, why?

if you ended up with a video_ts or a .mds its because you didnt set the option for an iso file in the first page after you hit backup

does it have to do with the drive being set up fat32 and ntsf file system?

Fat 32 drives will not see files freater than 0.99 gig. Therefore, Shrink will divide the 4.5 gig movie image into files of 0.99 size and the last one will be what is left over. The .mds file is an instruction set to put it all back together. Choose the .mds file when instructing DVD Decryptor what to burn.

I selected the iso file option, and all i get is an mds file and 4 or 5 other files with the movie tittle and extensions I've never seen before I01, I02 etc.

That's correct! The .mds file is the instruction set to reassemble the iso from all those other files. Choose the .mds file for DVD Decryptor to burn.
