I have been using the 2.0 TIFF exploit, and have never got these two emus to work, SNES works fine, (slow but fine), and NEsterJ works great, but these two to no avail, anyone else have these problems?
on a side note, is there settings to make the SNES emulator run faster? (aside from the CPU Clock and game speed settings)? thanks in advance!

I don't know what you mean my pc emulator lol
However I may be able to help
Only dgen 0.70 works on 2.0+ as far as I know.
And there is the frameskip option(pressing up on the analog for me)
Other than that no there isnt any other way to increase the speed. Remember emulator take up resources which leads to lag. You can only speed it up but so much. All of us have slowness with certain games.

haha..either way, DGEN 0.70 works, as far as starting up, but for some reason it cant find my roms...i got PCEP for the Pc Engine emulator, and that one worked...so me happy for now. now if i can only get the DGEN to work...just out of curiousity when you people put your emus onto the PSP, where do you put your roms? can you give me a folder progression please of how yours looks like?

I put my roms in the root folder,
some ppl put in the game folder but I don't kno why, that just causes you to have an extra corrupted data icon.
And the reason it cant find your roms is because you have to find the directory where you put it.
Use left and right to navigate through your files and find the the folder with your roms, once you do this it will save to the cfg file and everytime you load up dgen you roms will be there and you wont have to continually look for them =D

ROMS in the root folder....ok. I have mine something like this:
G:PSP/GAME/DGEN070/DGENROMS
WHen DGEN starts up, there are three tabs up top: ROMS-SETTINGS (or something)-and i forget the third. and L-R shoulder buttons scrolls through it, but the ROMS tab is empty....weird. all i need is to get that working and im all set...

So your roms arent in the root folder then they are in your dgen folder. Hmm i never tried that but if it works what the heck right!
anywho like i said use the left and right button( on the direction pad) to navigate through the rom menu..
For you, you
Go to PSP
press right
Go to games
press right
Go to dgen070
press right
go to dgen games press right again
and boom you should see your roms

Left and right on the directional pad...hmmm i may try that although im not sure if were talking about the same thing. Ill try it the way you have it (ROMS in a folder (?) in the root directory) And by root directory you mean the very first thing that comes up when you USB your PSP to the comp right? along side PSP and MP_ROOT (and various other folders since the homebrew is in there) right?....I just wanna say thanks for your help Joeva, and youre an awesome person, I was reading the thread where you and this other dude helped that mom get her sons PSP playable....that musta took some time...nice work.

Im pretty sure we are talking about the same thing. I am looking at my dgen rom menu right now.
Yes you are right about what the root folder is.
For me My Sega Roms are in RemovableDrivex:\Roms\Sega Genesis
So say I boot dgen up and Im in the game folder
I press left on the dpad a few times to get to the root directory
go down to roms and press right
Go to sega genesis and press right and my roms are there then i press O to load one.
Thanks for the kind words man. But don't mention it. I always try to help with what I kno, or atleast push people in the right direction.
And you're talking about http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/316834 right? Yea I think we went back and forth helping her for like 4 hours or so. She seemed very nice tho and she was really trying to make it work for her son. Plus I didn't want her to pull anymore hair out like the thread title said lol.

Hey Joeva, I think our DGEN's might be different? after all im using the TIFF exploit on 2.0 (dunno if that makes a difference though) My DGEN screen has DGEN in the lower right corner and the screen is constantly changing colors. The directional pad doesnt work, only the L-R buttons to move through the three menu options (ROM List, Settings, key config) I tried putting the ROMS everywhere, alas, my ROM List on DGEN is empty. what is the proper extension for a Genesis rom?....i have .bin -sigh-

Yeah , i havent got round to testing the others, Dgen 1.30 dont work,
only sometimes.Dgen 0.70 works 90% thats why i recommened it.
As for where to put the roms, put them in the emu folder (unless the read me states otherwise) so when u fire up ur emu the roms are kickin ya in da face, so u dont ave to look for them. ;)

Sudds bit off topic but try this man
if its the one your usin dont worry, but this is pretty good worx on 1.5 and 2.01+
I tried it and its quality is pretty good still havent tried a DVD, just hdtv AVI conversions.
Steps are
use virtual dub to encode the size, i chose Divx 5.21 to encode, but i might try the Xvid mp4 codec see if quality is even better. basically thats all then put it on and play.
BTW did the guide i gave you help in your encoding prob?
