I have been doing alot of thinking and then practising and everything is working okay for me now and its all down to bitrate.

In the past i've made dvd's that skip pauses then stop and its very frustrating i mean we all just want to sit and watch a nice film it stopping towards the end basically ruins your night.

But i've also had dvd's that do work and it for some reason took my brain some time to realise that the dvd's that do play are either the shop bought ones copied or the ones i complied so much onto its extented long play or super long play.

If i lets say take 2 700mb avi files that are each a movie and instead of making seperate dvd's of them put both 700mb avi files onto one dvd disc making it through nero vision express it will say dvd9 do you want to extend play this dvd click yes both files will now be maybe 3. something gig this dvd will maybe take 5 hours to make which isn't bad then burn this dvd at a speed of 4 maximum this dvd will now play with no skips trust me it works also when i compile lots of tv episodes onto one dvd make sure you exceed 4 gig and turn the bitrate down in whatever way you do with a certain program if you cant do that go over 4 gig go to 5 gig its ok then when made shrink it with dvd shrink results are good having the bitrate ast 4000 seems to stink it messes up for me everytime.
