HELP saving game to ps2 memory card in PSX game

I have this problem and it pisses me off,

After searching and browsing the web for about a month on how to play PSX backups on ps2, somehow i got it working without modchips or softwares installed, or whatever, then when i booted up the game and while i was playing it and i got in save point into the game and i decided to save, but it cant read the memory card on ps2 the 8mb MC, then i noticed that i needed a ps1 memory card to save the game, the problem is i dont have my ps1 one cosole and memory cards with me i left it in my country, so i tried searching for ps1 memory cards on the mall stores, and i can't seem to find one, and i thought there would be one and more cheaper than the ps2 mem card but none, i tried browsing the web again on how to save games on ps2 mem cards, and i found no clue, no idea at all.

for those who knows how to somehow save a ps1 game on the ps2 mem cards pls let me know and help me, i'd really really appreciate it if someone would help, advanced thanks for helping
