Is there any program like Ulead that converts AVI's on the fly, rather than having to convert them before hand. I tried the trial of Ulead and everything I add the videos files and click next it freezes up any ideas on that or any programs that i can try that convert avi's and allow authoring.

Try Nero vision
I find ulead isnt impressed with some DivX and XviD movies
