hello anyways some guy i know wants to sell me psx(the normal ps1)with 2 games.. iknow these are like 8 or so years old but is till love the games that you can play on them..i have heaps of back up games also i wanted to know is who has done a single psx swap trick with there psx? so i can play burnt games on it? also should i buy for 50 bucks?

you can get a mod chip still for the psx.
apparently you can put in an original disc then wait for the psx screen to come on then put in your back up. i hve not tried this but was told you can do it. i know with the psone (white one) you have to press the eject button & you will see something move, you have to stick something in there to stop it moving. like i said i have never tried this & with the old (grey) psx dont know what you would need to do to stop it recognising that the tray is open. personally i would go with a chip.
as for $50 i dont know waht currency that is in but in the US you can get one for $25 USD.
