hey everyone.

i got a slim ps2 and was wondering if the new hdcombo case would work with it without a modchip? i haven't found anything about that yet....

im not talking about the connect where you have to solder the cable..its the one that comes with the whole case and the hookups are just plugs

any info would be appreciated

Yes, it will work without a modchip, but you would still need the hd advance disc (i don't know if its included or not). But, you still need to solder the cable for it, http://www.hdcombo.com/hdcombo/uploads/manual-2.jpg

but really if your going to have the HD-Combo installed why wouldnt you at the same time have a mod chip installed?
