hi, i have a hp media center pc, with microsoft media center, i can record live tv and save it to my computer, i can watch it any time i want, but will not let me record it to a dvd, keeps saying it copy righted, its saved as a microsoft recored tv. can any one help me?

I'm sure Microsoft has some proprietary DRMish codec that it uses to record these video streams. You are probably out of luck with these streams, unless you can somehow convert them to a different format (although I doubt Microsoft overlooked something like that). If you have a TV tuner in your computer, why not get some third-party software? There's plenty of programs that can record to unprotected formats like mpeg or AVI.
