DVDsanta turns DVR-MS files upside down - Help!!!

I have recently bought a new PC that has windows MCE. Like many others I am having loads of trouble trying to convert recorded TV into DVDs suitable for a stand alone DVD player. The best way I have found so far is DVD santa. This converts the file and creates a DVD in an acceptable time but the picture is upside down!!! I dont fancy turning the tv upside down or sitting on my head! Any body got any ideas!! Apparently there is a program called vobsub that can be used to flip the video up the right way but i have no idea how to make this work. I look forward to your help.
