do Verbatim 16x DVD-R's work on ps2's? The manufacturer is MCC.

Actually, i wouldn't bet on them working, a lot of ps2's don't like 16x media at all, or skip a lot.

I can assure you firsthand (I use that media).. I have a v12 with subzero fix and a DMS4 Pro modchip; the verbatim 16x media works; I burn at 4x with it though.

You might not have any probs with those 16x's with a slimline, but a lot of people i know that own older, fat ps2's have some kind of problem with that type of media.
Just thought i'd re-state more clearly what i meant, last reply was made in a hurry.

i have a old v7 ps2 and i burn games at 16x and they play fine on verbatim dvd+r/dvd-r media.
