bad, awful idea, it was bad enough when there were problems here - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/316808 where a smattering of fonts ie usernames etc were in red. it was atrocious

well, i would imagine it would have gave m,ore meaning to a word in red... or any other primary/ secondary colour... not on usernames or thread titles or anything, just in the thread... but not in the sig... i just thought it woulda gave more meaning and understanding to a person point...:'(

yup, thankfully ppl wouldn't bother with it, but hopefully the admins wouldn't even consider stuff like that. awful on the eyes, but at the end of the day there's bold/italic and smilies to express with, and in my humble opinion that's more than enough on a forum

i would like those, such as at cdfreaks forums. but the Admins don't like those either (their choice). but smilies are quite inoffensive anyway, it's unneccesary colours that aren't needed, that would be sick-inducing :)

i agree with creaks, the bold and the italics do just fine.
Wags if you say no one is really going to even take the time to put the color tags, then why add something that isnt going to be used?
i do agree that the smilies would be a great addition to AD

wat i was saying is most people dont use the bold/italic unless they actually mean sumfin... but if they wanna make an emphasis on sumfin use dif colours... if ANYONE (emphasis, would be in red but it isnt cos it cant be ;(... ) agrees with me, or remotely thinks im on sumfin... please post... im being shunned... :'(

We don't need any fancy colours in here -- this forum is for information sharing in a technological sense. If you want to emphasize a point, use bold, italic or incorporate images..
