Problem With Nero Burning DVD-R but not Dvd+R

Plz Guys can u help me out i have the new nero 7.0.8.2 i burn a film thru nero dvd files onto a dvd+rw n the film works perfect but wen writing the same film to a dvd-r (the same dvd-rs worked last week) but now they stick n pause half way thru the playback but no pronlem with the +rw i desperately need to fix this plz help

wat do u mean post a log Nero says it completes successfully on the DVD-R but on play back it stickes

You should still have a log, it can be found here:

A log will show us if something is going on with your system. It gives us something to sink our teeth into. :)
You should be able to find a log in the path locoeng provided.
Here is the cut and paste thing i do on log locations:
Nero 6 history log location: Program Files>Ahead>Nero>NeroHistory.txt
Nero 7 history log location: Program Files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory.txt
These things record all burns, and we only need the last one. The burns are seperated by something like this

that was from a Nero 6 log, but 7 looks much like that. Underneath the divider is the operating system, and right below that is the begining of the serial number. When posting a log, just include the last burn log, and be sure to edit out your serial numbers by typing xxxx over them before posting to the forum.

Please remove your serial #, it is at the top of your log and begins with 1C80.

You should look into upgrading to 512K of ram, or else you'll have to dig deep to free up some resources for backups...no multitasking!!!

Total crapola, reusable crapola at that...LOL I would suggest Verbatims or Taiyo Yuden, Sony, Fuji, Maxell (made in Japan).
Everything else looks to be in order, the reason for the pausing, stuttering, pixellation etc. it more than likely either your low amount of ram coupled with multitasking during the process, cheap media or a combination of both. What brand DVD-R's are you using?
Nevermind, I see in the second log that you are using verbatims...excellent choice. However, you need to turn off the high compatability mode when burning DVD-r's, this option if for booktyping you media, which you can only do with DVD+R's...something you should look into BTW.
