Probaly not so much a problem with DVD shrink but a problem with my computer. Anyway, I've already in the past ripped the whole boxset of band of brother sucessfully only this time round when I load the 5th disc in DVDshrink it just says 'no disc' when I go into my computer the disc is not listed.
Cheers for any assistance.

If its only the one disk its sounds like the disk is damaged or dirty try cleaning it

Have you tried restarting? lol My dad (who is very new to the computer) ran into this last night with his brand new machine. Everything was properly loaded. I checked it out; confirmed etc. I restarted it for him, and voila, it was there.

I found no special incription on Band of Brothers, so do as Mr. Pink says and restart the computer. I have fixed a lot of things with a restart. Not saying that you may have a bad press on the disc. Geo.

I've tried restarting numerous times without any joy. What's annoying me is that I've already ripped the entire set before, granted it was some time ago but the whole set is still in perfect condition. It's only the last disk that is not recognised. I've had had this problem only a few times with other discs.

Have you tried ripping it with AnyDVD running in the background? Try that. There is a 21 day free trial you could try, to see if it works. Then you could buy it, if it works. $40.00 from Slysoft.

Try ripping it with DVDFab decrypter or DVDDecrypter to the hard drive and then navigate to it in shrink.

See if that helps.

I've tried dvdfab & AnyDVD without any joy. The thing is when I go into 'My Computer' the dvd drive apears to be empty.
