I've tried burning a DVD with subtitles, but they aren't showing up on the DVD I burned. I used vobsub and the .avi with "submix" to create a new .avi with the subtitles. After that, I burned the DVD. The subtitles show up on the .avi on the computer, but on the DVD there are no subtitles. Any suggestions on what to do?

I'm using Nero 6 Ultra Edition o_o

Help, anyone. xP

Use DVD Shrink. There you can pick which subtitles you want.

Whoa.. okay, I downloaded it.. but I have no idea how to use it! Do I use the file that doesn't have subtitles and somehow upload the .srt and encode them together? Or do I use the file I performed submux on, the one that shows up with subtitles on computer but not when I burn the DVD?

Ashe, do you have Nero Recode ?

You can also do it w/ Nero Recode. There's an option for subtitles.

I have Nero Recode! Same question though..

Same question to you.. Do I:

1.) Take the DVD I already burned (in which the subtitles don't appear) and attach the subtitles to it through this?

2.) Use the non-subtitled .avi and the .srt and combine them together through this?

I'm such a newbie on this.. any instructions/directions will be greatly appreciated.

I found the subtitles option, but it doesn't recognize the .srt??

Nero Recode 2 can only copy those subtitles that are present on the original DVD. If the subtitles that you selected in your import profile are not present on the DVD, they will not have been present on the original, either. Please check the 'Subpicture' tab to see which subtitles exist.
