I started this because id like to know what games interest you guys..personally, i have 3 games i am really looking forward to seeing.
The first is Unreal Tournament 2007. I've been a fan of the unreal series since 7th grade, and ive played every games witht he word unreal in it from the series. It's always had great combat fetures, nice gametypes, and has a story line in each game, which is supprising cuz its mostly a "kill all" type game. It's promising to be a very fun game.

The 2nd is a game called Alan Wake. the trailer wake me sooo entriged by this game, and it came just shy of being my 1st choice game by almost nothing. Your a horror story writer who lost his muse and love, and u venture to a small town. You have nightmares, but the problems is they are turning real. Your only ally is light, because once your asleep in the dark the nightmares begin, and may end up with your death. The game is being described as a "psycological thriller".

The 3rd is UberSoldier. Its basically a ww2 fps game where you were to be the nazi's key weapon in the war, but you turned your back and slaughter them because you didnt want to be brought back from the dead. The graphics are really nice and the gameplay seems like it will be great. Plus, the model designs are sweet and fantastic.

it seems like a good game but i never found the others too interesting. i was young then so who knows. killzone looks promising aswell. im suppried few people are talking about their faves here. anythings open for debate.

mine would have to be,
halo 3, mainly just b/c i love the gameplay and i know bungie will not disapoint with both the gameplay and graphics, also the online should be great if halo 2 is anything to go buy.
huxley, a game for the xbox 360 which is looking great at the momment. its using the unreal engine 3 and is a mmofps, the story line is great and best of all xbl will suport up to 5000 people on every server.
the too human trilogy, is three games that will come out one after the next over period of time on the xbox 360, its about giants, robots and gods, and from what i have seen and heard so far its gunna be great. it is also using the unreal engine 3.
some other games that i am also looking forward to getting, super smash bros melee online (rev), gears of war, saints row, crackdown, splinter cell double agent, ranbow six veygas, war devil, mass effect, killing day, killzone 2 and Heavenly Sword. etc

Yeah I agree with Dr.Cool on GTA. If the PC graphics are already this good just wait till it comes out in high-def. Also I can't wait till BF3 if they plan on releasing it hopefully. And Killzone 2. I hope those movies weren't pre-rendered.

I'm excited to see what new franchises the next-gen has in store and I'm excited to play new installments of existing franchises that I love.

Hmmm not many RPGs here. Let me add to that. FFXII(hopefully it'll redeem the franchise), Xenosaga episode III(not really good as an RPG but the story is nice) and Dirge of Cerberus looks good too. Might turn out to be one of the best shooters on the PS2. Wouldn't that be damn funny. And then there's Ace Combat Zero. And in the very distant future Gran Turismo 5 with damage(about bloody time).

the movies were pre rendered but only cuz there was no working model of ps3, and because the computer showing the imigaes was a cheap one only good enuf to play movies.
but ubersoldier is out now and im getting it, i wonder if my 5200 will support.

damn e3 in a month... i remember "e3 is like so 5 months from now" like it was yesterday and wow time flies when you dont think of things.

anyone here played oblivion yet. IT PWNS!!!!!!!!!!!! i didnt think it wud be that gud.!
Don't judge the consoles by specs, more isnt always better, espec in PS3 specs.i know the truth, ask if u wanna know.......

i used to like dbz in 6th grade but not anymore. my lastest fav anime was full metal alchemist. if they made a game with its entire storyline with next gen graphics on the bluray for ps3 (since the space will be needed) i would love it. they already have an fma game but i havnt played it.

99percent of games dont use the amount of the space on teh dvd so how r u so sure they would need to put it on Blu-ray to make it fit.another thing people are getting a little too lazy,how fu*king hard is it to switch discs. i agree to have a four discs set is a little much but a two discs set is not that bad. america is really getting fat and lazy.sony's catching the lazy fans who like to blow money, have fun spending 35dollars on a movie to play on the ps3 that wont even be in 1080p for quite some time being as none of their t.v's cant support it

america is a modern day rome if you think about it..
anyways yes because to get the whole story line to almost the last detail would need it.
plus look at the begining of ps2. games then were about 700 megs. not the average is
about 4. the average 360 game is about 5 gigs, and on the same increase plane seen with
time and detils needed to be nice, will total about 29 gigs. but being sensible lets even
just say 25. thats 3 dvds. you have it all wrong, i dont mind changing disks if something is
liner. but imagine a game like an rpg, where every world you enter you need a new disk, or
a game like madden where to play franchise you need to swap disks, and to play nfl
superstar you have to change again. even a game like an fps, if you want to play a level
from early on you have to changes disks, and to continue your campaign you have to swap
again. over 2 games a day, thats about 4-6 disk changes per day. can you say pointless?
ms should have stuck with hd-dvd, but they knew it has less of a chance and they didnt
want to risk it.
and who is to say ill have a sony tv for my 1080p? there are several already out, and sony
has some on the way. plus i believe sony has 1080p projectors and projection tv's.

i dontthink Blu-ray is going to be nething special ne time soon. movies costs WAY too much and so do the Blu-ray players. from what ive heard u cant even get the 1080p out of them yet so its pointless. Blu-ray does have a lot of support. oblivion is a massive game and granted has loading times that are less than stellar but it fit on one disc without a problem, i cant argue casue in the end i dont know the content of the game you speak of i just dont think Blu-ray will benefit the gaming industry for quite some time. two to three yrs minimum and by then at the rate console are coming out there will be new systems out by then. Blu-ray is an attempt to prevent piracy but not looking like they want to screw the public its got a few bells and whistles that really arent worth it.i mean we go this long with dvd whish i think we should still have it and now all teh sudden qere quadrupling the amount of space we need. BS that doesnt make ne sense, technology is just taking advantage of the worlds obsession of "perfection" which we will never achieve. technology is moving too fast for the consumers own good, by the time u get the newest latest phone,system,t.v,dvd its outdated and u need to upgrade. HD-DVD is more conventional, it has a a good am,ount of extra space over the dvd and will be the same quality picture as Blu-ray.but i got off topic,sorry bout the ranting and raving. Point of the matter is im pissed that madden sucked for in almost everyway,ncca which is coming out over a yr later almost is set to suck as well or atlest not meet its potential on a next gen system. CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME A NON-BIAS ANSWER TO WHY THERE ARE A GOOD AMOUNT OF TITLES ON TEH 360 THAT HAVE MORE FEATURES ON THE CURRENT GEN OVER THE NEXT GEN?.again there are some quality games for the 360 but ther shouldnt be any that suffer like thsi for the price and power the system can offer

people will tell you "oh cuz they rushed them" but alot is compatability issues. alot of the
fetures were hard to recode, and the only recoded what was really needed.
and oblivion just uses the same parts over an over. alot of the meshes are the same, and alot
of the textures are reused. thats why is was smaller.
and if you are all "if we've gone with dvd this long why not keep it" then you should be all
"omg we've been without electricity for soooo long so why use it?" or "we've had non ddr
sdram for ages, why do we need ddr, ddr2 or xdr?" advancements are a part of life. we've had
xbox for so long right? so why do people want the 360? because it is newer and better.
