Not Responding problem...

Nearly every program i run, all i get is Not Responding
Is there a way i can reduce ot even stop this from happening.
I go to convert a AVI to MP4 and when i go to convert it crashes, when i click my mouse it just says "Not Responding"

THIS IS SO ANNOYING

Any help would be much greatful

You computer probubly can't handle encoding...It is probubly getting to hot

It is.. ive done it before but the last few days its been doing it.. its not only encoding its other programs aswell
