Hi all and sorry if this has been answered before and/or in the wrong section.

I have recently bought Swap Magic + Magic Keys for my Slimline (V12), I got my mate to install it for me, he opened up the PS2 and stuck two peices of blu tac in.

He then closed it up and tested it, it worked fine and then I took it back to my place. I tried the Swap Magic and it didn't work. First it loads up to the Swap Magic main screen then when I press eject it makes a little nise and says ''Insert bigger TOC disc''.

I've been trying different things since and have gotton no where :(

So if anyone can help me and tell me what what to do, it would really help me.

Zak.

I dont know what your mate did but bluetac has nothing to do with magic keys the insert larger TOC disk error normaly occurs when tool 1 of the set that goes in the small square hole at the front left of the drive bay above the power switch is missing or installed wrong
have a look at this

Thanks but I'm getting the same problem, as soon as I eject the disc tray and pull it a centimeter up the PS2 makes a weird noise and says ''Insert bigger TOC disc''.

I think the PS2 knows the tray is being opened. Is there any way to stop this?

Disc does not spin, and PS2 goes to browser screen.

Magic Keys is wrongly installed then. When it's correctly installed the disc has to start spinning when you power up your ps2 with lid open. Install Magic Keys again.

i think i'm dumb

He opened up the PS2, he put one where Tool A is supposed to go, and one in the middle, I'm presuming thats where tool D goes..

they're out positition now or something is wrong with them. do it over again! because, like said, disc has to start spinning when you power up your ps2 with lid open. that's the main idea.
