whenever i go to start burning my dvd it says there is not enough space available. im only usinfg 1 G of disc space and there should be 4 available. I am not shrinking anything i never heard of that until now. i just got nero ultra and am trying to learn how to use it im totally green. i just want to be able to burn movies i download.

Sounds like your hard drive is running out of space. Check it and see how much is left. Go to my computer and click on the drive listed under hard disk drive. Depending on your operating system look to the left and it will tell you how big the drive is and how much free space is available. Then you should start removing any files you no longer need. You can also do a windows disc cleanup to clean out temp files, recycle bin etc.

Or, giving you the benefit of the doubt that you have an abundance of disk space, it is probably a newer encryption. Not enough memory is a new error that Shrink spits out with the new sony discs etc. What movie are you trying to do?

If it is a new(er) title, then rip the movie with DVDFab or VOBB.
