alright......i didnt do it....but....i have a sony psp and i am not under the 1 year warranty any more and i didnt get the store warranty....well....when i try to turn my psp on, the little green power light will come on for like ten secs, but nothing will appear on the screen, and then the light will go off.....i have tried charging it for hours, and even days, i know it is not the battery, what could it be......and frankly, i dont want to go inside of it and try to fix it, i am a pc guy, not a psp guy (when it comes to fixing) so is there any place that i can send my psp to and pay a fee (under one hundred dollars) and get someone to fix it?

I think replacing the motherboard will work. It doesn't look that hard to replace. I'll try it one of these days.

did u try to flash the firmware? or did u GENUINLY 'break' it? cauz if sony is very anal on what people do with their psps, if u flash the firmware, that pretty much voids the warrenty, to my knowledge. if its genuinly broke, u can tell them that, hoping they have sympathy :S . but if ur confident, i would rather try fix it myself. at least u know more about psps ^_^ . i mean, wuts the harm if u cant replace it and stuff... mite as well fix it and know more about it and post up some useful stuff bout the 'physical' psp
