just found sony pro duo high speed 2gb for $80 on the website (i don't include website, don't want to get banned, maybe its not allow). my question, $80 for 2GB high speed, SONY brand, is it make sense? All other sites like bestbuy still 169.99 for regular 2gb. circuitcity 144.99 after instant saving and rebate, also for regular 2gb. Any idea?

i got a 2gb official sony (official packaging) from ebay for... AUD$160 incl postage. i saw the EXACT same one in a shop for... AUD$350. it works juuuuuuuuuuuuust fine. but i neva knew sandisk make a 2gb ms pro duo...
 P4 2.8gHz, 1.5G DDRRAM, 370GB HDD, o/c 6800LE, Leadtek DV2000
 Firmware 1.5, 2.0G MSPD > lovin it ^_^

yea i do sleep.. i work nights so usually at night i do most of my postings and i am asleep during the day however i do get on during the day or sometimes i post from my cellphone(sidekick 2).. i swear im an afterdawn addict in the making

Probably not, but trust me real or not it'll work 100% the same, it just wont be made directly by Sony.
Steps to bricking a PSP:
1. Get a brick
2. Hit the psp with it untill it won't run any longer
Congratulations, your psp is now bricked.

not really. one part of that arguement is right. if another company makes the same ms, it wont be the same. some parts will be similar, but different company, different structure, different parts. ill be REAL shocked if i open a sandisk and sony ms and theyre the EXACT same.

Yeah but this is made to replica the Sony MS, so all the parts will be almost the same and it will function as such, some make cheap ass fakes though and they fall apart after a while, the one I got lasted me over 4 months already and I hadn't had one problem with it.

same. im saying that sandisk and sony use different parts and different architectures. so one has got to be better than the other in some way

My bad I thought you were just using those two as examples, yeah SD is probably better then the normal Sony 2GB MS and Sony high speed 2GB is better then the SD one, in the end it makes very little difference.

the Scandisk memory is actually the better one thats a fact
And you said different company makes a different stick with different parts. Well you're wrong. Its not the exact same, however it is essentially the same product. Scandisk's tend to be more durable, faster(ultra II), and more reliable. thats it
