Hi guys! Just wanted to hear you adivise or info on my problem before taking this back to Wal-Mart..

I have had it for about 3 weeks now, and it recorded everything fine.. maybe had 2 screw ups out of about 30 recordings, so nothing major or problematic for me.. mostly, inconvenience of course.

Anways, starting today, the recorder will ask to prepare the disc to record, and then freeze at 99%. I have to unlplug the unit and restart it in order to interupt the frozen 'dELdISC' process it stays stuck on.. any suggestions or a way around this issue? It was working smoothly and all of a sudden it just stopped. It still plays all the DVDs I recorded with it, and I have tried switching DVD+R brands... nothing.

I hope you guys can offer a helping hand, and let me avoid taking it back.
