Anybody have luck with Pianist??? Has structural protection errors, ran VOB, still got nowhere. Surprised by such an older flick.......
tried shrink, clone, anyDVD, fab decrypter, ad nauseum. Wasted beaucoup time, never did get it to work. Furthest I got was a hangup on a chapter near the end. BTW, no probs with Derailed and it is loaded with puppetlock, arccos, structural, the kitchen sink =))

I don't remember any errors with this flick, I just used DVD Decrypter to rip and then DVD Shrink to compress and Decrypter to burn. Are you sure you don't have a bad disk?

Definately as can be assumed good disk(s) tried 2, no crc errors reading, 2nd original I tried, (a friends) AnyDVD popped up with same weird structural protection text that the new stuff didn't touch. Really bothers me. Had to give up. First time that has happened to me. Always found a way B4 =)) Also had problem with PBS prgm recorded on a Tivo-like device, Got first part, totally ignored second tho it showed it there in menu. (French and Indian War on PBS, 2- 2 hour selections on menu)

It can still be a bad disc even w/ no crc error. It does sound like a bad disc to me though. I did it w/ Shrink on it's lonesome. It could be a bad press.

I can't really comment on the tivo thing.

Thanks for the reply, folks, I had 2 originals. What are the odds of them both being bad??. Oh well, thanks again. Guess I'll look for it in wal-marts bargain bin LOL
