hi
i have an matrix infinity v 1.82 chip
there is on the website an dev2 cd download
if you change the name of your elf in boot.elf
and place it on the cd it loading your elf said on the webpage

but when i put the cd in the ps2 with ulaunch 3.51 it starts up
looking for cdrom0:\ then it goes to searching hdd but the he said
cannot find hdd

do i need to have an internal hdd? i have an external 160gb

and if i am wrong about this plz can someone say what software i need
for using elfs of an pendrive or hdd?

you need to download the version that supports the Slim with external HD download this

Hope that helps there the both of them in there and a read me but just use the BOOT_slim_PStwo.ELF one. :-) Hope it works out for yah :-)


PS I havent a HD with my slim but i think you can load uLaunchELF onto the HD and then you only have to

LAUNCHING HDD APPLICATION (DEV2 MODE):
--------------------------------------

- Press L1 on joypad 1.
- If correctly installed, the default application will be executed from the HDD.

:-( Sorry but not to sure what correctly means, that means you dont have to put the cd in just hold down L1. :-)

Look at his sig, he doesnt have a slim with HD-Connect like you might be thinking, looks like he maybe had a V9/10 with a USB HDD.

Yes you will need the HDD to be installed to the Sony network addaptor then plug all that into your PS2. It sould work great after that.

hmmmmm just a hunch but try going to mass because that normally goes to what is plugged into usb.
