New Eurovox TX For MMDS

Mine is having the same problem.
When I do autoscan it gets to a certain precent (51%) and frequency of scan and just hangs there.
I've gone to the individual frequencies (that show a good signal strength) and done manual scans for these and got all channels that way.
I've also noticed that the unit reboots itself some evenings for no reason!
Don't have the cable and can't remember how to reflash.

I had this issue about a month ago. A full scan hangs at a particular frequency. There are 2 fixes for this.
1) Wait for the problem to go away...which it will after a few days
or
2) Upload a CDF with a creation dates of later that Aug this year. (Earlier ones point at old freqencies)

It stops at frequency 322, only got 76 channels instead of 90'ish, It's been like this for a month or so, it is also re-booting itself a lot lately.

ahha What Euro Vox??? Hi Lads I have a EuroVox TX that I got from a friend and I'm on Ch0rus/NT1 MMDS (the one with the funny satelite dish). So I want to get another box for another room but cant seem to find to many of these for sale online.
Can someone please tell me
1) The best box to get (ideally I would like HDMI on it..dont really need a Hard Drive)
2) Best site to buy from

Hi folks Its been awhile since anything has been posted on this thread hopefully some are still subscribed.... i'm just wondering if the end is Nigh for the EVTX came home today to find all movies and all irish stations scrambled.. I received a new card recently for my C****s box trouble is i can't find it! have they finally cracked the terrestrial receivers???? :(

yep the boxes are going down
only to be replaced by the starview.6 or new kryptview

I noticed when I came home that the 4 Irish channels had no audio and sky one and movies were scrambled. The audio thing with the Irish channels still didn't work after a rescan. However, I deleted them and then rescanne and they started working again.
If you notice that the rescan stops and doesn't get to 100%, (see my comments on Dec 01 2009), I found that if you have the box on a high channel like 99 and then go into menu and rescan it has a better chance of finishing the full 100%.
IS there newer firmware for the Eurovox TX or is the Dec 2008 still the latest?

As said before, the boxs are going, this is the start of Nagra 3, no firmware for them, cards have been sent and recd in a lot of areas, sports going first and the rest will follow very quick.
There is a talk of a new box for MMDS, but this hasnt been released as of yet, so sit tight

I thought when it went to Nagra3 that there would be no fix, especially for Tx, considering it wasn't fixed for Cable and only Ireland uses MMDS?
Have they given up on Cable since Nagra3 as card sharing seems to be the talk these days, whatever that is?

there is no direct fix for N3, what they are doing is a CS workaround for cable, thats all, you will need your box connected to the net for it work

remember this is not a fix for nag 3 just a way around it, the box is called kryptview a780 but hasnt been released for mmds users just yet, in order for you receive all channels you must be hooked up to broadband if you keep an eye on these threads you will know when its released..
