Just tested this disc and it is amazing, reproduction is flawless , the disc itself seems to be twice as thick as an ordinary dvd. Trouble is they are expensive and only sold in the Uk by one outlet.
Having said that its the best ive used up to now.This disc has been tested here http://www.dvd-recordable.org/Reviews+index-req-showcontent-id-14...

ahhhhhhhh another Taiyo Yuden fan...... I'm in the USA..... we can get those from Supermediastore.com....... I don't think they ship to UK....... sorry....... but Taiyo Yuden is a great media! That's all I use!

but a tad too expensive for my pallet at £4.49 for only 10..however i didn't realise they're supposed to be more durable/thicker than other discs. maybe i'll try a tub next time i order some discs (i can just see this thread attracting a flood of replies of "oh no creaky's gonna buy up another flavour of TY discs") :)

Im only using them to back up the very best movies, the rest will be backed up on whats left of my Ritek discs that have been 80% ok and 20% bad.Having said that my LG burner plays the bad discs , its my Panasonic dvd player thats choosey. It loves the Datasafe pro so ill pay the price and use them as my media.
