yOs... my first thread ^_^
basically, when i started my psp for the VERY first time, I just had the PSP folder in the root dir. now, ive got all these files. i just want a clarification (if thats a word... if it isnt, its a made up word i made up :P ) or you guys to clarify wut files should be in root...
root looks likes this atm:
folders: PSP, UMDEMULATOR, MP_ROOT, ISO
files: 100.bin, camarche.dat, hookboot.ini, index.dat.bak, memstick.ind, MSTK_PRO.IND
i DO know that psp folder is supposed to be there (deR!) and UMDEMULATOR and ISO is for UMDEmulator v0.8c
others, im not too sure about. i rememba chucking files on the msd back when i waz a nub :P .
on the psp, ive got UMDEmulator x0.8c. im not TOO sure about the files. lil help?

100.bin, camarche.dat, hookboot.ini, index.dat.bak, memstick.ind, MSTK_PRO.IND
all of those can be chucked without adverse effects, only one is hookboot.ini its required for some backups which dont come in ISO form. It uses hookboot to load but if your not playing anything like that ( maybe youve deleted the game )
then it can go to.

naw not at all, i started two months ago lol..
funny thing is me and piece start on the same day and he's got like 250 more posts than me lol..
but in two months a learned a lot of shit here man..
i learned a lot here from piece and sudds and co and i learned about shit in the other sections of the forum too, im gettin some $$$ together to modd my ps2 so once i get it together i will be in there a lot..
ill prolly be a addict then asking noobie questions lol

its against the rules to double post and double thread, you are supposed to always edit the first instead of posting twice, and you arent supossed to double thread, start or ask two question in two different threads
