I'm looking to either get some TY or Verbs of the 8x dvd-r type. I'm just wondering which product produces the best quality of picture on the disc. Also, does white or silver produce the best results?
the silver give you a cool holagraphic look that is brighter and I think "cooler". The white ones are good but not holographic like the silver ones! I use both... but I use Taiyo Yuden 8x DVD+Rs.
I only use TY and Verb white inkjet printables (and the occasional MAXELL MIJ). The Verbs have a more glossy finish, and produce slightly "richer" color. The MAXELL and TY surfaces are similar... They all look the same after I coat with Patricia Nomick's, though...
