Greetings all, Just a quick question. I have a Sony TRV 27 DV, and firewire cable. I am trying to capture my video, and I'm wondering is there a free prog. that I can capture the video in directly to a Divx format? I have Divx Pro, but everything I read says to capture 1st then convert with virtualdub or flask...Thanks for the help

I use Premiere and Vegas, but both are rather brain-dead. I hear that Scenalyzer is good - http://scenalyzer.com/main.html

Try their trial version and see if you like it.

if you really want the quality that you paid for
in the camera you have to capture first and divx second
