I just installed my new xecuter chip and when I boot my xbox the DVD tray opens right away and a screen that says Xbox Linux Clean Bios 1.8 comes up. I take this to mean that I have a chip with the cromwell bios.
My question is, how do I get a bios that will boot Evox on the chip?

try this, but not shure
get evox on a disc, and boot it up, so when that happens, you can get connect it to your computer, and transfer over the bios to your xbox and flash it.

or get one of those util such as Slayer's or DungeonX or Captain dunsel's util to help you set stuff up .

Can you not put evox on an X-ecuter 2 Lite when you have the cromwell bios?

No you cannot. The cromwell bios is a legal bios that doesn't have all the hacks that others do. It will only allow you to use Linux and it doesn't look for evox or nextgen so it wont read an evox image disc.

There is no way to get evox on with the Cromwell. Because it won't look for any dash, be it microsoft, evox, or nexgen. It will only boot Linux. If you want evox you are gonna have to follow the instructions from the link above.
