nero problems.

After dvd shrink finishes encoding and I put in a backup disc to be copied it does not automatically start to burn. Enable with Nero is checked. Can anyone offer any help?

I'm not sure which setting you mean. There's 2 different settings.First one is: Edit/preferences/File-I/O: There's a box that needs ticked that says Enable burn with nero-needs ticked.

Second setting is in on the screen right after you click backup:




Is your select backup target set for nero? This will have a checkmark and your burner/model # in that setting. Look at the squiggly red circle.This is how mine is set for autoburn with nero6.0.0.21b.

What version of nero do you have?
You'll need nero burning rom 6.0 and higher.

What is the brand name and model# of your drive?
What is the Firmware version?
What is the brand name/format/and speed rate of your blank media?

Neroinfotool will tell you this.

Lots of things can cause this. First make sure all those settings are correct. If correct,then possible firmware issue.

If you have the latest version of Nero 6.6.1.4 then you need to go back to Nero 6.6.0.18
