Need some help here regarding emulators and games

I recently found some new games released for psp and i decided to try them out. But im not sure whats the problem but i cant play them, the games are as follows:

Daxter
Dragonball Z Shin Budokai
Megamn Powered Up
Neopet Petpet Adventure and the Wand of Wishing
Spongbob Squarepants The Yellow Avenger

Im currently using Devicehook which appears to me that it does not require any UMD disc to load games whilst others i tried seems to required a UMD disc in order for the game to load. For example fastloader, umdemulator and MPHGameLoader(Not sure whether thats the case but thats what happen to me)

My psp version at the moment is 1.5, is it because of the game version is not compatible with my psp version thats why it is not working ? I got those game from ISOhunt.

So basically im trying to ask what exactly is the problem and is there anyway i can make it work on my psp? Any help will be greatly appreciated as this has confused me alot.

Lastly, sorry if i have posted on this forum or perhaps searching for an answer in the forum.

yeah, for the newer games, theres a way that you need to go thru in order to make them work. its not a simple UMD Emulator job. have a look thru the forums using the search.

Which reminds me, anyone able to get Sython Filter working yet, I don't want to bother buying it then finding out it doesn't work on 1.5.

2. Hit the psp with it untill it won't run any longer
