Ive been looking at video footage from the 360 and PS3 and the PS3 looks outstandingly better. I'm not a game freak, the last game I played was about a year ago before I gave my xbox to a friend. PS3 gas blu-ray which is amazing in my eyes. The resolution is alot more aswell, its high def where as 360 is standard def, this makes a big difference in my eyes as to which one to buy aswell as I got a 140 cm tv. Cant wait to find out more details and see more images and video from the PS3.
cosmo.. .i'd say try looking here for a fairly creditable source of information in my mind " www.ps3portal.com " they usually have updated headlines daily but not always about new ps3 related info, along with some 360 info from time to time.
i think the big factor between ps3 and 360 is the ps3 incorporates newer technologies and in my opinion has a better chance at being a console that lasts in peoples homes for 5+ years. a perfect example the ps3 comes with the blu ray player built in, where if you have the 360 and you want to play the future next gen dvds you are limited or you have to buy the soon to be external HD-DVD player. i think its more convienant for me if i travel to have the luxory if you will to carry just a ps3 with me and have full capabilities (games,movies) than if you had the 360 you have to carry with you the external device and the unit...not a huge deal but if you have lil ones running around or not its just one more thing from them to play with and break
Wrong, every 360 game must support both 720p and 1080i, it also supports standard 480i and even 480p. The PS3 will support all of the above, plus the showstoping 1080p. Since I don't plan to buy a 1080p HDTV anytime soon, 1080i is the best I will be able to get for the first few years. But it should be enough since I recently enjoyed Gran Turismo 4 in 1080i and it looks off tha hook.
