I used DVDD with AnyDVD running and backed up chicken little. Now it looks good until I got to chapter 4 and then it skipped and froze a few times. What is going on. Should I just back up the movie without extras....or what?????
I have never used VOB. Could someone link me to download and instrucitons?
Thanks.

Latest version of AnyDVD is 5.9.4.1 and it has a built in ripper so you do not have to use DVDD.
I did this movie but just the movie and not the extras and it came out fine. Try the AnyDVD Ripper it is supposed to fix the files while being ripped to your HDD.
Edit or run your files through VobBlanker and then use Shrink or whatever you use to compress.

So what you are saying is that I can just use AnyDVD to get rid of the guards and to put the movie on the disk like DVDD would?
then I would run the movie through the usual steps...correct??

Yes right click on the fox in the tray and choose rip to HDD, it will ask for an output directory and then just hit okay. Your ripped files will be on your HDD and then you can use Shrink, Clone, or Nero Recode to compress and whatever you use to burn with. AnyDVD rips in File mode so if you are using Decrypter to burn then you need to run it through and create a iso file.
