CobraBackup HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just flashed my viper extreme chip with cobra 1.6 BIOS. It runs like a charm on my gc, but I'm having problems with my backing up. I opened CobraBackup, and pressed "Full Backup." Then a window came up; ERROR CONNECTING! Make sure two dipswitches are off(they are) and make sure it's on Cobra BIOS main menu. Whate does it mean by that? Please helps soon, I'm a hopeless newbie who needs immiediate action! Thanks people!
