GCoS Ripper/Cobra BIOS Help(PLEASE HELP!)

Hi, I just downloaded a copy of Cobra 1.2 with a built in GCoS ripper funcition, flashed it into my viper extreme preformed the ripping, and got the ip address. I typed it into my browsers(firefox and internet explorer) and got errors both times. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong!
If this doesn't work, I also can't seem to work CobraBackup. Each time I run it, it says "cannot connect. Check dip switches (I did) and make sure it is on Cobra main menu. I think this means my gc needs to be on, as the menu is it's default but this still doesn't work!


If anyone has advice to either of these questions, tell me RIGHT AWAY! I'm on a limited timeline, and would absolutley love some help!
